Born of childhood favourites,
contemporary iterations
and the multitude
of bear-like characters
scattered throughout the decades.

And became a story
In 1991
a group of confident, conscientious
(and medically trained)
bears
escaped from Teatown Zoo
with a desire to fulfil their purpose,
and share some joy
across the community.
Since then,
they’ve been seen raising smiles
and saving lives
with their unique talents
and expertise.
